Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How does pawning work?
A: You bring in an item of value, we assess it, and offer you a loan based on its worth. If you repay the loan (plus interest) by the agreed date, you get your item back. If not, we keep the item and the loan is settled.

Q: What items do you accept?
A: We deal in gold, jewelry, electronics, tools, musical instruments, collectibles, and more. If it has value, we’ll take a look.

Q: How do you determine the value of an item?
A: We use current market prices, condition, brand, and demand to offer a fair value. We’ll explain our reasoning so you know exactly how we got there.

Q: Do you buy outright or just offer loans?
A: We do both! If you’d rather sell than pawn, we can make you a cash offer.

Q: Do you sell or make loans on firearms?
A: No, we do not do anything weapons-related.

Q: Do you take stolen items?
A: No. Less than 0.1% of pawned items nationwide are reported stolen. We record every seller’s ID, log detailed item descriptions, and send that information to the police. We also hold items for up to 30 days so law enforcement can investigate. Thieves know this, so they avoid pawnshops and go elsewhere. Buying stolen goods would mean losing both the item and our money—so it’s not worth it.

Q: I’ve had something stolen—where should I start looking?
A:
First, file a police report immediately. After that, check businesses that buy and sell used goods but don’t report their purchases to law enforcement, such as:
-
Antique shops
-
Used sporting goods stores
-
Collectible shops
-
Consignment auction houses
-
Gold/silver buyers
-
“Buy for cash” stores
-
Jewelry stores
-
Wholesale jewelry buyers
-
Secondhand stores
-
Flea markets
-
Police property/recovery rooms

Q: Is my information confidential?
A: Absolutely. All transactions are private and handled with discretion, following state and federal regulations.

Q: Do you only work with locals?
A: While most of our customers are from the area, anyone is welcome.

Q: What if I can’t pay back my pawn loan?
A: You won’t go into debt or collections. If you can’t pay it back, we keep the item and the loan is closed. No stress, no extra penalties.

Q: Do you sell items too?
A: Yes! Our showroom has a constantly changing selection of jewelry, electronics, tools, and unique finds at great prices.
